Ian Hope's Chiropractic History  

Ian Hope attended Palmer Chiropractic College from where he Graduated in 1973. Palmer College is the fountainhead of Chiropractic education worldwide and was founded by DD Palmer the founder of Chiropractic.

He then returned to Australia and began practice in Canberra at Macquarie Chiropractic Centre which he purchased from Dr Hank Stamph. In 1977 Ian sold that to Donald McDowall and moved to Young in NSW. He established a new practice there as well as in Cootamundra. The Cootamundra practice was sold to Robert Hooke and Ian remained in Young until selling the practice in 1980 and moving to Wagga Wagga where he opened a new practice in January of 1981 in which he has practiced to the present day.

Ian has been involved in furthering post graduate seminar education and for a ten year period sponsored Dr Sheldon Deal, an ICAK Diplomat from Tucson Arizona to present advanced Applied Kinesiology seminars in Melbourne, Sydney and Wagga Wagga. He also arranged for Richard Utt, the developer of Applied Physiology to present in Australia as well. Ian himself has also presented seminars in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
